ive checked all the parts stores in my town... its not so easy to find parts for a truck that's over 40 years old as you would think ! especially a part like the one im needing. im from the area code 93436 Lompoc CA

You are so right. Owning a 4O something Datsun and keeping it on the road will require some ingenuity and a welder. For the odd part you can borrow one or have someone do it. Many people own one and that makes life a lot better. Often it's just as easy to make something else work from another vehicle or simply make something.

the part im looking for is not the actual mount that bolts on to the frame of the car . its the rubber that holds up and lifts the "tell end" of the transmission and bolts on to the transmission itself and bracket on the chassy. the job of the rubber im looking for is so yjr transmission doesn't sit so low and is not hitting the chassy.

As a last ditch effort assuming that you can't find a "substitute" part, take the steel upper and lower plates to a tire recap place and have good 80 durometer or better synthetic rubber block vulcanized in.  You might just have to use a Forstner bit to drill out the holes to insert the bolts to the transmission housing but at least you will have a servicable transmission mount that should last as long as you care to keep the truck.
