racerx
nice job..could go lower, may 1". Up to you..show pics of the green one... Quote Link to comment
red76datsun
I think 3 inch would look a little better. Little less rake. What size rims are those? They look DEEP. You could go smaller rims and tires and that would help the look if you were going for low. Looks good though. Nice KC 1 Quote Link to comment
oregonhomeboy541
The rims are 15x10s If I go any lower i'm gonna scrape to much, gotta get stiffer suspension when the cash rolls in Quote Link to comment

red76datsun
If you are okay with a little dirt, that would be a cool datsun picture. Flinging some dirt in a dato 1 Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Wrong rims for dropping. 10 Inch??? 7 would be better as long as the offset is right too. Your tires are sticking out from under the fender so it's obvious to me that eventually you're going to bump the wheel up into, and fuck up the fenders. Worse is a wear groove worn all the way around the tire treads. You want the tires inside the fenders where they won't do any harm. Saw this in the '70 when wide oval tires on chrome reverse rims were the rage. Groovy man 1 Quote Link to comment
oregonhomeboy541
but yea the green one is my friend's (henryhustler) 521....http://community.ratsun.net/user/9355-henryhustler/ Quote Link to comment

red76datsun
Ya I think even 15x7 would be good. Rims that are tucked look good Quote Link to comment
JoeCool
Ya'll went duh wrong way bo! Lowering trucks is dumb! And useless too bo. Ya'll needs to lift it and throw on some big supa swampa mud tars! LOL! But seriously, other than the tires sticking out too far I like it. Needs wheels that tuck and more low" Quote Link to comment
Janksun
Damn is that a 4x4!? Quote Link to comment
datsunaholic
I don't know about Oregon, but in Washington having tires stick THAT far out the fenders is liable to attract the wrong kind of attention... as in the blinky light type of attention. Legally, the tread cannot protrude beyond the fenders, but usually they don't do anything as long as it's less than an inch. Besides, any sort of water on the road is gonna end up all over your windshield. Oily road grime water. And when it's dry out, you'll be sandblasting the sides for the truck with dirt. oregonhomeboy541
Yea i figured that. I see 4x4s in town that stick out worse than this..nobody bothers me I am gonna get flares in time Quote Link to comment
yello620
Do those wheels have the silver center or the gold center? I might be interested in them if you decide to change them out in the future. I might even have a set of steel 15 x 8's if your interested. Quote Link to comment
oregonhomeboy541
yea they are gold in the middle. got any pics of those 8's? Quote Link to comment
yello620
I dont have any pics of the 8's at all. Don't want the gold centered ones though, Would be very interested in a set of silver centered ones. Quote Link to comment
