Nismo dr stopped by to BS for a bit so I recruited his help. Found a vacuum leak, fixed it, then found a gas leak, then fixed it, then the piston inside the dome got stuck. So we took em both off, cleaned em and fixed em.

 

Now it idles!!!!! Kinda : p

Got the carbs dialed in enough to sync them and go for a drive!!

But then.....

Ended up being the bolt behind the oil pump for the timing cover was loose... Seems to be a common theme in this build :/ but the oil pump got dropped and the bolt tightened down. No more massive leak! Oil pan gasket seems to be leaking too but it's more if a drop every few min instead of just pissing it out like before so I can live with it for now

i just don't like my undercarriage/ engine bay covered in oil..... 

 

Oh well, i still have to drive to Eugene tonight to attend a B-day party i was roped into and pick up my new Can - O - Pee!!!!
