See that black tub next to the truck bed?

The fan shroud is at the very bottom of that tub.

Who here has a strong stomach and wants to see some pictures?

Runs good,some assembly required?

Look at all this hate.

This A10 was very far from a perfectly good car.

With all the rust, electrical issues, etc. it would be tons of work .

Hell, locating the needed parts was damn near impossible as well.

Upon taking it apart, I'm surprised it even ran.

Lots of things were needed from the A10 to help get the new Datsun on the road.

Engine crossmember mostly.

What good is a very far from perfectly good car without a way to put the engine it?

Believe when I say I didn't want to.

I felt that this was actually the best way to deal with this car

The next one will get the proper treatment it deserves...

Mostly in part to this sacrificed A10.

I was being kind of sarcastic, though I wish I'd found one in that shape right after my near-perfect '81 (the one with the real nice reupholstered interior) got slammed into by an Explorer.  Ended up selling that one's front subframe, since that was about the only thing still straight, and I kept the drivetrain for future use.  That and the driver's door and fender.  Every other body panel was bent.

Became the below less than 3 weeks later.

The front end would have been OK except the impact threw the car into a jersey barrier (which was on my LEFT before I got hit.  I got spun around too).   That hurt.  It was the only car I've ever had with WORKING A/C.  It was the cleanest A10 I ever had, and I only got to drive it 9 months.
