chebetio510
Quick question to anyone with a ka seap in there datsun... I'm using the 620's original drive shaft . Just shortened to length.. but I'm getting a rear trans leak, new seal ect... is tbis maybe because the yoke? Anyone mayne do the same with issues? Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
Did you install a new seal? Quote Link to comment
chebetio510
Yup recently did it, and still almost immediate starts leaking Quote Link to comment
southern620
It could be a bad seal. On my l20b I went three before I found one that didn't leak. Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
Hows the spline fit? Is it sloppy at all? Is the seal surface on the slip yoke worn? Southern620 hit on a real problem with parts these days. QC is almost nonexistant it seems like. Quote Link to comment
Vince_
Resurrecting this thread just to say how informational this thread has been. I recently posted in the "Project" section trying to get everything together for my KA24DE in a 620. If you guys got some time, can I get sent some links on where to get these motor mounts and disc brake conversion parts? Thanks again guys, I'm new if it wasn't obvious lol. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Posted them on your project thread. For disc brake info go to the SEARCH function top right of every page just under the 510 picture. Type: Disc brake up grade for 620 and start reading. 1 Quote Link to comment
