I dont know that it would have worked for me, but straight cut gears are not a stock or street thing. They are typically very noisy, but strong. Possibly close ratio as well. You probably had something there.

 

 

I will check with the guy who have it now , I might be able to have it back

Btw...I just spotted that lathe you have hiding on the side. SWEET!

yeah I LOVE that thing , my father teach me how to use it , It's not very precise tho ... but when I take my time measuring I can do around 0.001 :) enough for me ahah 

 

now I need a milling machine :P

did something funny tonight ! :D 

 

I flipped the rear wheels ahah looking much better , still too much camber tho ...(lot too much ...) a little bit of body filler too ...

lol yeah , I will get the enkies rimmed in a few week and will make a fittement test ...

 

I will need some brackets from Dave? well .. those on futofab to get the camber at the good place too.. plus some camber plates for the front ..

 

 

I saw the top hat you did for your coilover setup it's pretty awsome , I might copy that if you dont mind :P

You mean the top hat with the needle bearing? That is a MUST! You don't want rotational force going into the spherical bearing.

 

 

The rear kit that Dave sells is NICE!

Just remember that you need to either have stock rubber bushings or something else that allows articulation. It doesn't work too well with stiffer Delrin or full-metal bushings.
