as soon as I will find some calipers I will weld them in place :)

I can't wait to see the rest of your work. If you end up not being able to find those calipers locally, let me know. I can definitely get you a set. It's just the shipping that sucks!

I can get a set of jdm one around here for about 80$ just dont have the time to go pick em up lol. but for sure you will see those bracket welded soon :) I need to test fit everything before the primer ... this car is much more work than I expected but I enjoy working on it :)

reported the appointment for the roll cage too lol I want to do it right so when I will take the car there it's gonna be ready :)

steering column is my big concern for now , still dont know what I will do ...:(

I will wait for my pedals to arrive , then see how much space I have to work with .

A good cheap steering column solution is a S13 column. That's what I'm running next. It comes with the tilt function and enough flex joints to make it work. PLUS, it has modern headlight and turn signal switches. Give it a try.

It also allows you to use the S13 steering wheel hub adapters a few other upgrades not available for the 510 column.

I still have to finish the passenger side rear quarter and a bit of trunk floor for the rear of the shell . On the front the only thing I have to finish is the 2 frames under the fenders and then I will get in some real bodywork :)

now I'm about to fit the wilwood pedal assembly but the steering column is right where it would set because there is no curve in the pedal arms ... So im thinking about modifying the steering column but I wonder how...

Can I put more than 2 joints in a steering column ?

did some of you already get into this ? I would like to see how yo install those
