Komeuppance Posted January 11, 2013 Author Report Share Posted January 11, 2013 It needed love and attention I didn't have for it at the time, couldn't sell it because they would just part it and scrap it. So I gave it to a friend for his promise that he would bring it back to life. Its got a g54b I rebuilt for him with 20k on it, and I helped him go through all systems of the car since he let it sit outside for two years. He's noobed it through many over heats and low oil situations... even drove it until the brake pads were so low the pad backing plates fell out. He's a car noob but I've slowly taught him how to wrench and keep a car in running order. Its his only car and daily driver, yet its survived him while his other four cars haven't. Got that swapped with one of my spare transmissions I've had sitting for many moons. Also swapped in a poly urethane trans mount I won in a meet raffle three years ago. And finally installed some new o-rings for the sandwich plate... which I've had waiting for 2 years lol. I have many more parts to be installed, but I'm busy driving it... plus I'm lazy!! I've been on a roll recently though, maybe I'll finally install one of the bigger turbos lol. -Robert Quote Link to comment
