Laecaon
There was a guy advertising his 620 truck as a 610 on portland.craigslist. I forget the color. What was funny was that in the ad he said "I know what I have in it", but he obviously didnt know what he had... Quote Link to comment

datsunslam101
that is a great deal do you guys know the easist way to put the rear engine main seal in? Quote Link to comment
DAT510
do you guys know the easist way to put the rear engine main seal in? yeah, just remove the engine put it on a stand flip it over remove oil pan and start unbolting everything. Problem? Quote Link to comment
Pumpkn210
Its as easy as tearing the engine out and apart! ;) Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Easiest way is to remove the engine. drain the water & oil is the hardest part for me. Rebuilt engine? And the seal is already bad. He probably didn't do a rebuild just replaced the rings and some gaskets. The rear seal comes in a rebuild kit... Quote Link to comment
TENDRIL
awsome deal! but you might of got all the old valves from his top end rebuild?! never the less, if he did a bottom end rebuild rear main would not be an issue refer to above said^ Quote Link to comment

TENDRIL
,the way that evrebody is telling you is gunna be a tight work space and your gunna be under a truck (danger will robinson)but if you do have a cherry picker and a motor stand, that would be the best way to go, im sure ur getting antsy :frantics: but if you want to drive more than a mile i would take all steps to make it a reliable driver, and im assuming that "evreyone" is not on this forum! MicroMachinery
I would just pull the transmission and replace the rear main that way. Leave the engine where it's at. Waaaay easier. 1 Quote Link to comment
