sabbfan
Hey all, I just picked up a 1981 210 coupe with 67k original miles. I will post some pics asap. It is a 1.5L auto, only a lil rust above the rear wheel wells, I'm pretty pumped about it. My question is, what are my options for fitting slightly bigger and wider wheels to fill the wheel wells up a little better without breaking the bank. The original 13" wheels and tires just look way too narrow. Are there any stock rims off of something else that work well? Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
Hey all, I just picked up a 1981 210 coupe with 67k original miles. I will post some pics asap. Now is as soon as possible. I'd say OIC's or BAN, but all the mods are in Canby. There will be no Ban-Hammer swinging for a few days. Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
Kidding ya man. But really, post pics. As for wheels... What were you thinking? 17x8's ain't workin. There are a ton of OE 14 or 15" wheels that look good on a 210/B310. They would normally be anywhere around 6" wide. With the right offset, you for sure can get some 7" wide wheels. Even wider with the right flares. Anyways...welcome to Ratsun. I'm gonna warn ya-we're all picture snobs. You should get some up before everyone gets back from Canby. http://community.ratsun.net/topic/691-how-to-post-pictures-and-keep-online-photo-albums/ Quote Link to comment
Laecaon
280zx rims are plentiful and easy to be found. Can even look good! Come in 14 inch or 15 inch about 6 or 6.5 inch wide I do believe. Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
I would do a lot to find an '81 210 2dr sedan. The pic in my mind includes this B310 sitting on some Z swastikas. Shiny ass lip, color matched to body of car. Start cruising CL. Quote Link to comment
yoke_a_b210
i was going to say z wheels as well, they can be pulled off on almost any car in my opinion. or go on ebay and buy some 13x8 rotas for like 400 or any other 13inch rim with some beef behind her. nice score on the 210 i might add. CWhip
Yeah Swazi wheels go right on. CL is your friend!! Quote Link to comment
sabbfan
Now that is exactly what I'm looking for! What year are those off of? Quote Link to comment
CWhip
I believe they are off a 83-85 300 zx. Found them on CL. Anything with a 114.4 x 4 will work, just have to watch the offset. Quote Link to comment

They're from the '79-83 280ZX Turbo. ;) There are two different styles of 15x6 on the turbo cars. Both are a good (and cheap) fit. Quote Link to comment
Master-O-Turbonics
I like 14" 280zx iron cross wheels. here is a set on my car. has 185/65R14 tires. Slightly taller than stock to reduce highway RPMs and/ or increase top speed. ;-) much better than the 14" sentra wheels that were on it Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
I like 14" 280zx iron cross wheels. here is a set on my car. So do I, but at nearly 20 pounds each, they don't do much for your acceleration... Quote Link to comment
metalmonkey47
Z 6 spokes are better :P Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Datsun 210 (B310) factory wheel: 13" x 5" Datsun B310 styled steel wheel: 13" x 4.5" Quote Link to comment

flatcat19
Z 6 spokes are better :P Meh. These have a habit of falling off. 1 Quote Link to comment
sabbfan
I'm really liking the iron cross wheels! Its good to know I can go to a slightly bigger wheel on the cheap. Its time to start browsing cl, like I don't already, that's where I found the car in the first place:D Quote Link to comment
Drive510
Seeing that u are new, welcome. I've always been a fan of the s30 slot mags. They have a set at a yards near my house for 125 all 4. They polish up really nice if you want to go that route. I know it's not the same car as yours but google image search datsun bluebird taxi to see what I'm talking about. Quote Link to comment

Kisor
What's up guys, fairly new to the Ratsun world, first time poster. I didn't see an "intro thread" anywhere but didn't look that hard, lol. If there is one please direct me to it, thanks!! On the topic of wheel fitment, I have 17x7 +45 wheels on my '78 B210. Now, I know its not the norm to go that big on these cars but I already had them in the shed off a 240SX i used to own and didn't feel like dealing with the crappy 13's with rotted tires that were on my B when i got it.... That said, I am running 205/40/17's on the front with S13 front suspension and 225/45/17's on the rear using a 25mm spacer. Car is lowered alot in the front and prob 1.5" in the rear. Before you ask, yes they do rub on occasion both front and rear and I have rolled the fenders about as much as possible. On to the pics!! Any questions fell free to ask. I'm not a Datsun pro but I'm a pretty good bullsh*ter.. 1 Quote Link to comment
