datsunfreak
So, we were looking for an easy way to cap off the smog ports in the ends of the exhaust manifold. We made some block off plates and those leaked after the first 1000-1200 miles. So... We took the stock smog pipes, cut the "pipe" off, just leaving the pipe's mounts. Then while rooting around found that a beer bottle cap is a perfect fit for the hole the pipe left behind. 8-10k miles later and still doesn't leak. You can even still read the logo on the lid. :P 1 Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
You can't paint patina on.... it has to be earned. Quote Link to comment
MikeRL411
This has nothing to do with your excellent fix but I have a mini bottle of Harp Lager and also one of Guinness Stout! A mini bottle Black and Tan? Quote Link to comment

metalmonkey47
Cool Looks better then my block offs. I took a piece of thin steel and cut it to match, then used some exhaust sealant to seal it up tight. Quote Link to comment
