Good quality for the money :D. megasquirt 2. i already got all the edis stuff from the junkyard. i wish i could get everything done right now and install it, but i am in a very study intensive course right now (4 hours a night studying) so i cant really work on anything. after the school thou its on like donkey kong. BACARDI_DWB Posted May 2, 2008 Author Report Share Posted May 2, 2008 Well the update is, its still in the works. my daily driver blew a shortblock/turbo, so i have had to drive my 521 daily and i have not had time or $$$ to put into my 521 just yet. i def will have ITB's in the 521. but i am still debating on what motor to put it on. thinking putting it on a stroked lz22, but also thinking about doing it on a KA24DE. we will see when the $$ comes back around. oh they are 43mm each Quote Link to comment

ITB's are individual throttle bodies, they are just lke dual SU's but they are the fuel injection equivalent. they have some advantages (over one throttle body) like high velocity and high rpm flow. but suffer from low velocity and vacuum issues at low rpm's. they sound awesome and they are awesome with fuel injection cause they are easier to tune than dual SU's (in the fact that you only tune them as a full set, not individually) the sound is amazing. BACARDI_DWB Posted May 3, 2008 Author Report Share Posted May 3, 2008 KA24DE ITB's this link should give an EXCELLENT idea on how it works on a KA24DE. but the quick and easy is: itbs are easiest found out of street bikes, mainly suzuki 750's or 1000's. also you can find them for lots of money thru TWM ITB's now in order to use these you will need to have a stand alone of some sort. since you will not use a maf sensor. read the web page and it will describe a complete how to pretty much. they used megasquirt Quote Link to comment
