I had an SRT-4 with 330hp and 415lbs of tq, that was a monster of a motor, I would have loved to put that in a RWD car. Torque steer stucked. It was fun though, I could literally downshift on the freeway at 60mph and slam the gas and spin the tires. I got a best of 12.5@111mph, which if it was RWD i know i would have dipped in the 11's.

I am hoping I can make it to Canby 2013, my truck will be ready by Canby 2012 BUT I will be on a deployment :(

Well my project is mid stage, I was about 1/2 way through my project before I ran out of money and could not finish (New House, New baby, New job). I had decided to put my Datsun on the back burner until I paid down a lot of my bills. Well I went from owing $48k to now only owing $10k. Now that my bills are in order and I have some extra money, I feel its time for me to get back on my Datsun and get it done for as cheap as possible. Previously I was going to put in some super expensive coilovers, and build out my CA18DET to the moon, pretty much a build that would never get finished. This plan I am coming at it now is actually obtainable, and I will be able to drive it with only a little more time and money. Before it was going to cost me at least $15k to get it on the road. I am thinking SUPER simple, KA24DE is simple, Carbs are already sitting in my garage and super simple. and I picked up a matchbox distributor for the KA24DE. I get home in August, I will be home for 3 months, then i have to deploy for 6 more months. I am hoping to get enough work done in 3 months to put it in the shop to have my roll cage installed while I am on deployment. I am going to send you a PM for miata parts request. Thanks Bob ryan
