I have pictures of the 350z seats somewhere but I am at my girlfriends and I don't have access to the Hard drive containing them ATM. The modification I was referring to included cutting the rails bending, straightening and welding them back together. A very nice digital level was used, as was my ass for proper placement. Drilled new back holes and put some new hardware in. Oh, on the drivers side, MKlotz came up with a great spacer... its a round thing (sorry mike forgot what it was called). I will try to take pictures when I get back to work on monday.

I used Subby WRX seats cause they are the nicest I could find. Other than RSX or 350Z seats but I wasn't about to pay out the ass for either one of those. I made tabs that bolt to where the seat rails were, placed seats inside with tabs bolted to it still. Tack very carefully, remove seats and weld her up. I'm body-dropped so I had to get rid of the rails just so my head won't touch the roof.

This pic i a little old. There was one more bracket to build for the pass. seat(that's why it's crooked). The L & R seats were quite different mounting wise.
