Topher88
It's an hks core with one cast hks elbow on one side and a custom one on the other side. I don't know who welded it up from the start. I purchased it used and just polished it up Quote Link to comment

Topher88
Ok guys I'm stumped..... I just got my fuel system tightened up and as soon as I switched on the pump I'm getting 3 out of 4 leaks on my ss hard lines. I have tried tightening and loosening several times with no success. The male part is aluminum and the flared part is stainless steel. Any suggestions? Quote Link to comment
Rustbucket
Did you flare the stainless by hand, or with a hydraulic flaring tool? Usually stainless is too difficult to flare by hand, which could be the cause of your leaks. Quote Link to comment

Topher88
Gona pick up some aluminum crush washers for an fittings and hopefully that will seal the deal Quote Link to comment
SR20DETdatsun510
I had that problem and it was the tubing. It was splitting down the seam every time I would flare it by hand. Finally got it to seal... Quote Link to comment

Topher88
fixed it! picked up a couple "nose protecters". they are soft aluminum caps that go over the male fitting and when you tighten them it gets squished and fills in all the imperfections. the car is officially ready for wiring. taking it in Thursday night and should be up and running by the weekend.
