jvb5577
I love your truck Jeff. With dropped spindles she'll sit just about right for a good DD I know I have been looking but nothing used yet. I can't see paying almost $300. Thanks Darin. I can't wait for this height with normal suspension travel  1 Quote Link to comment

Wheezie
Thanks. It's been a chore.. lolI am indecisive as to if I should slam it to the ground or keep the stock tow package on it for toy haulin'...."Opinions welcome here" Quote Link to comment
mikeanike99
Or you can go low and practical so you can still tow maybe like 3-4" drop nothing major just low but still usable Quote Link to comment
hobospyder
What sort of toys are we talking here wheezy? If only two wheeled you might be able to fit two in the back with some effort, anything bigger, keep the tow package 2 Quote Link to comment

Wheezie
Thanks guys.By "tow package I mean w/Overload springs (not just a bumper)...and I think I wanta keep 'em.Then MC's can go in the back an a small camp trailer on the bumper. (Yess they can!!!!)I used to haul 1 cord of wood in my old beater for years!Did take the toll on the wheel bearings after a year of haulin' but.. "what everrr.." Quote Link to comment
mikeanike99
I have overload springs in my truck Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Overload springs were stock. Tow package was something else. 1 Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Some just had a 1/2" steel bar under the spring stack. The spring was normal until flattened against the bar then is was pretty much solid with only the tire squish for suspension. There was a camper option around '77-'78 with a few goodies which included a stiffer spring. Quote Link to comment
