merlin
back at it on this one for the last few days... been fixing little rust issues that have appeared due to it being stored outside under the dreaded tarp for part of the summer... fortunately not many and only in places where i didn't get a coat of primer/sealer on. wet sanding and spot filling alternating panels, clleaing up the rear tub so it looks clean... experimenting with the Tremclad/rustoleum paint jobtechnique. pics tomorrow. 1 Quote Link to comment

merlin
i have three jobs, one full time, two part time, but i do get days off all winter. i used SEM self etching primer and ACME formula 1hi build primer for the base... i've run into so many fixes and bumps thought i've been using spray bombs of Pro Form self etch and duplicolor spray filler/primer too. pics tonight when i get to DSL. merlin
engine bay base coat... just with rattle cans. the Hlvp on the interior... ...was a goopy wet mess that is still drying after 30 hours... using a Tremclad (aka Rustoleum old formula) colour called Recreational White ... looks like melted vanilla ice cream. May try cutting it with acetone instead of mineral spirits... tried a 50-50 mix but might reduce that a bit. also did the underside of the hood and trunk and the inside of the one door that was ready to go.
