I was changing out my carrier bearing and when i crawled under the truck i found this.

for those of you who have not worked on a truck that is a pic of the flange that you use to bolt the 2 piece drive line together.

 

so tiny the stock bolt is twice that size

COOL!!!!!!!! my 620s driveline had NO carrier bearing spacer and is lowered like 5"-6" and i used to have to tighten the bolts every few hundo miles,I finally put a spacer in and the flange holes were oval the stock bolts fit in like that tiny bolt,dat620 guy gave me a long d/l from a KC and i used the bearing to axle part of it cuz that driveline(my old one)WAS JUNK!!

I didn't kno SPOCK was a DATSUN!!!!

I think datsun corp fastener dept. should have all been fired for putting those stupid phillips head screw fasteners everywhere! DAMN I HATE THOSE! :angry: :angry: :angry:
