Mr Raiders
Ok I think I figured out why my truck was making a clunking sound every time I started moving. Anyone know if I can replace this (Drive Shaft Center Support Bearing) myself? and if so anyone seen any good deals on them online? Also if anyone has replaced this part before are there any tips that might make it a lot less of a pain to do? any help or suggestions would be great. Thanks everyone Quote Link to comment

datsunaholic
It's been covered here before. The rubber part is generally NLA. The bearing isn't, but your bearing probably isn't bad. Datzenmike had good results wrapping the bearing with strips of conveyor belt; old inner tube or strong rubber matting would work too. Wrap and clamp. Quote Link to comment

ariascarlos1990
can someone please cover how to swap to a one piece driveline? is it the goon shaft that bolts right in?? Take the whole driveline to a driveline shop and tell them you want a one piece. Should be around $100. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
One piece are fine as long as the drive shaft does not hit the cross member when the diff drops down when hitting a sudden dip in the road.. Quote Link to comment
