It will basically be a turn key electrical setup. The car was supposed to be picked up today to go to the body shop but i haven't received a text from my uncle saying they came yet. When they stripped it down they got to the point where they wanted to see what was under the bondo since it was about to go to the media blaster. They ended up sanding the entire sides of the car down to bare metal because of how much bondo they found. The car is almost done being sanded by hand and its getting ready to go to the media blaster. check out the pics and you can see body damage on the front driver fender, behind the driver door and behind the passenger door. The car was in better shape than what we thought but still not great. Also, the previous body repair had metal strips welded above the fender lip as a "bondo shelf" i haven't seen that before. I also set up my inline pro fuel rail and FPR setup on the motor but i forgot to take pics of the work i did. Hopefully i'll have my uncle shoot some pics next time he goes over there so i can post those up to. I also got the wiring sent out to jordaninnovations to finish the rest of the chassis wiring so hopefully we will have that back in the next month or two. I think the next big things coming up are ordering wheels, tires, and a heater setup from vintage air. Quote Link to comment

electron_si Posted January 24, 2012 Author Report Share Posted January 24, 2012 January 24, 2012 Well mike from weksos called me yesterday and told me that the offset for our wheels we ordered wasn't available in the T disk for big brake clearance. We have to run the T disk center so the offsets are going to change quite a bit. FRONT- 15x7 -3 45mm lip REAR 15x8 -3 57 mm lip Tires will prob be 195/50 up front and 205/50 rear. Fenders are now going to rolled and Pulled as far as possible for clearance and possibly small flares will have to be added. This isn't what we had planned on but i think the new aggressive fitment will really look good on the car. Quote Link to comment

It has been media blasted and etched primered so they can start working on the body. My uncle didn't send me any up close shots of the damage but he said that it is just a little worse than they thought. I'm glad to see it moving along...its going slow but its coming along. I emailed jordan innovations to get an updating on the wiring over the weekend and im still waiting to hear back. Quote Link to comment

The wheels from Work arrived in the US a few days ago and cleared customs and inspection at work USA. They will be arriving on tuesday according to UPS. I ordered tires also 195/50 for the front and 205/50 for the rear. Dunlop DIrezza Sport star spec Z1's. They should be a good tire as far as traction goes. I'll post up pics when the wheels come in and the tires get mounted on them. Quote Link to comment

Just want to say thanks again to mike from weaksauce.org for all his help getting sizing and offsets and after 2 hours of phone conversations we finally got them ordered.
