5tinguy
Looks like it might be a datsun. I can't tell for sure. Think he's got insurance? Do you have to have insurance on a airplane? Quote Link to comment

irsa76
I think it looks more like a Toyota to me. The back of the bed looks different to a 520. Quote Link to comment

shane_lxi
I think it's a 521, the bed has that "look at me, I dont line up with the rockers" kind of look to it. That sucks :(. Look at the guy in mid-sprint :D. He looks like cactuar from final fantasy, lol. Quote Link to comment

datsunaholic
Hubcaps look Toyota to me. That picture has been around a LONG time. I first saw it in 2002, but it had been published in a magazine years before that. http://www.cargolaw.com/2000nightmare_singlesonly3.html#dont_park Quote Link to comment

dat521gatherer
why is it some pilots want to buzz the vehicles below them? thats the same stupid shit that killed guitar god randy rhoads. wtf is wrong with people. cant really tell if it is a datsun or not. if we could pin a date down on when the pic was taken say before 72 it would be a datsun. datzenmike
What is, an early '80s 'Yoda, Alex? Just look at the upper rear of the box at the tailgate. Too pronounced to be a 521/620. Quote Link to comment
INDY510
It might be from this movie: Or this one: Why???? poor 510:cursing: SH!T:poop: Quote Link to comment
datsunfish
look at the lower rear section behind the tire.See the way the bed curves and the lower section looks seperate. Those features resemble a 620 to me.The cab resembles a courier/b1600 but, after all it is small and boxy because it is being hit by a plane. Hard to say.Lets see a larger picture. Quote Link to comment
datsunaholic
I still say, '75-78 ish Toyota Hilux. The front bumper is too substantial (and flat) to be a 620, and the rear bed is too square. Toyotas of that vintage (as did ALL Japanese pickups until the 1980s) had the bed skirts that didn't line up with the rockers. Also, a Datsun until the very late 70s probably would not have rear quarter lights in South America (where the picture is allegedly shot from, Colombia or Equador) but Toyotas did. There is a visable rear quarter light. Quote Link to comment
pope_face
No idea on whether or not it is a Toyota, but it appears to have rear fender flares... I don't think the early Datsuns did, at least not the 520's and newer... Quote Link to comment
dat521gatherer
if this is from a movie then no harm no foul. the roof does look a bit boxy like a toyota. Quote Link to comment
