Gensaiken
what did you use to paint the exhaust mani? those wheels wont tuck will they?..... are you going to keep it stock height? I like your project.... good work! keep your "oil" cap its RARE! The paint I used was for exhaust manifolds high temp paint. The color is "Flat Silver" which is exactly the color i've been looking for. I can get a brand if I can find the can. I bought it at shucks/o'reily auto parts store. Thanks. I'm likely going to keep it stock height for a while till I know if I need clearance under the truck or not. I have a handful of oil caps for the L series. Theres quite a few different styles. :) Nice progress......the rims / tires fit well. Thanks. I like this beefy tire look. :D Quote Link to comment
Gensaiken
Truck is near complete. I'm being held up by one piece for the PCV system. I was using the stock cast iron piece but it was turning in to such an ugly mess cutting the EGR part off that I just abandoned it. I had a source on the 77 aluminum PCV piece so I went with that. I cut off the EGR and plugged up the rest. Thankfully everything came off easy. It should come out pretty clean when I get it back from a friend who is threading some holes to be plugged up and smoothing out some of the rough edges. Truck should be up and running here soon. Quote Link to comment
