    521 bed trailer

I was considering delivering it, say within a 100 miles, but the reason I'm selling it is because the fuel pump is out on my tow rig. :( oh...bump

http://eugene.craigslist.org/cto/3524515303.html It's mine, give me a call. Mention ratsun and tell me how I painted the hood on my 521, and I'll let it go for less. Really like it gone this weekend. Pictures are awful, sorry. Phone or email to the ad is better, I'm not on here as much as I used to be.

    521 Bumperettes - Used

Ok, here they are. Just phone pics, and I left them on so you could see the brackets aren't all bent to crap. The pass side one is a little bent on the horizontal, but not all messed up. I'll hit 'em with some coke & foil before I pull them. I'm actually waiting on my replacement before they come off. Thought it would be here today, but no dice...

    521 Bumperettes - Used

No kidding? Do I need a left hand socket and some blinker fluid to lube it first? Honestly. Not neccessary. I know how the truck is built. You can be snide after you've met me. Maybe. Family first, hobby next. Read my previous post. Really like to get these out there to someone who needs 'em. I'll get these pulled today, and photos up. Here's the pecking order: 71datsuns tdaaj gene knight There is a longer list, but I expect they'll go to one of these guys...

    521 Bumperettes - Used

Wow! Sorry guys, working two jobs and have a sick baby at home. I'll get to all the PM's as soon as I can.. not sure who was in line first, but it would be delicious if I didn't have to mess with pulling these...

    521 Bumperettes - Used

I'd say these are good to very good condition, I'll do my best to take some photos when I get home from work tonight. Thanks for all the interest :) 71Datsuns - Near Eugene.
  8. Got my hands on a pair of decent bumperettes, w/rubber bumpers and brackets. Pics soon, who needs these? $100 if you're local and want to pull them. $150 if I have to pull and ship them, plus shipping. PM me, thanks :)

Thanks for the comment. No progress to speak of, I was laid off in March (when we bought the car), and just went back to work. Had to point our money towards more boing stuff like the mortgage, electricity and food. I've looked it over pretty good, and done a bit of tinkering, it's going to need a brake master, front driver's side drum, a fuel pump and a gas tank filler tube. I oredered some Corroseal for the interior floors, new points/condensor, and a new ignition switch. Turned it over with a remote starter switch, and checked compression. Looks like it should fire right up, but we'll see. There is a suspicious, new NOS head gasket in the trunk, and these flatheads can be monsters to get the head bolts out of...

Thanks folks, it's going to be fun. Looking at the parts for the disc swap in front, got some Corroseal, an ignition switch, points/condensor, TSM, etc. Hoping to try to start it up this coming week.

    620 Heater Box

Complete, don't know if the mixing valve is any good, but I think so (which is why I grabbed it). It was originally going to go Skunk in case he needed it for one of his trucks. No pics tonight, but I'll get one up. $20? Get it out of here. First guy (or gal) that shows up with a 16oz Dutch Bros. White Mocha (for me) can have it. :) PM me, Eugene, OR area.

The American didn't have a Torque-Tube, next bigger body style did. Depends on what we do for motivation, I've got my eye on a Mustang II Cobra 5 bolt 8" right now. It wasn't quite Hudson-like in ancient racing stature, but you're right. They were beasts in their day. We're not getting crazy with it, I don't quite have the skills or the money. It will be a 'fun' car, and a driver. Just PM'd a member about an L20/AT. We'll see where this goes....

It's actually powered by an 'L' motor now. A 196 cu flathead. Brakes first, maybe a little tinkering with the L-head to see what we've got. Then stuff probably needs to start coming completely apart. Driven - That is really an amazing build. Not my first, second or twentieth choice for an engine, but there isn't much that will fit in here without chopping stuff up.
