datzenmike
Hey lou I may have passed you going the other way this evening! Was in the Port all day working. One thing that never stays on those cars is the tiny chrome trim on the top rear of the front fenders up by the windshield. If they are still on there, immediately take them off and either save them or glue them back on. Good score. Quote Link to comment

ggzilla
Congrats. Man i remember back in the mid-80s that car was the ultimate (affordable) japan techno gadget. Especially if it had the 120-button radio. Now you is on a slippery slope. More luxury, bigger, newer styling. It never ends. When you hit rock bottom you will go back to your early simple Datsun. There's a 4" chrome strip, likely missing. Lou, I might have a set of clutch pedals for that.Might have a Z bell for a 5 spd. too. Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
If you guys were both 21 we'd be over a century. I called this picture "the load out". It's a Jackson Browne tune that describes the roadies loading up the bands equipment. Somewhere in there is three blocks, L20B, Z24, Z22. A set of 6" rods, three sets of main bearing caps, an L20B timing cover and an R&P from a 200sx. I know there was more... Jason? . Quote Link to comment

I remember trying to muscle the stuff out at the other end  , wow, why does the smallest and oldest guy have to move all the heavy stuff eh :P ! Funny thing is that the 'goon didn't even squat down more than another inch withe all that stuff, really stiff rear suspension  ! I figure between the 3 of us we're closer to the second century mark than the first one guys  ! Quote Link to comment
