Street racing today in Compton "brotherhood of street racers"?

Why not go to Irwindale or Fontana and do legal drags. What's with street racing I just don't get it. You want to kill or be killed.

Irwindale thurday afternoons till like 10pm... it's only $10 per person and an extra $10 to race your car or truck. Fun times. I haven't been able to run my truck due to the clutch and not having a radiator overflow bottle.

There are the names that i couldn't remember.Fire Departments get to do what they want,where they want.So using them as an example is a no-go.Irwindale & Fontana weren't open in the 80's.

If illegal and if your not racing but watching. You do get ticketed and maybe even an impound.

 

If racing for example my bro got caught. They impounded his car for a month!!! So the bill come around 2,300 for everything...

 

I lost many friends do to illegal racing. I wont do it again... But it sure was fun!

Just helped bury a good friend of mines lil brother not 4 months ago. It may be fun for a min or two but it only takes a second to die, if you are lucky. I know another guy that is paralized from the neck down due to hitting a pole. I cant say I never drive fast, but this street racing has a high price.

Ditto, lost two friends in crashes.

One was racing in a Subi, hit the apex of a hill to fast and lost it. Hit a car head on and then got T-boned by the very large puck-up truck behind it. Truck killed him instantly.
