lol Why i HAVE to ask, are u always in the truck forum, I noticed a month ago...Skib dont own a datsun pickup! You have a Z, 510, ZX, and a goon right? did you used to have one? DO you plan on getting one?

I will never own one. yanking a motor from a 620 is the biggest fucking pain in my ass :rolleyes:

why is yanking a motor a pain from a 620?

 

 

1. theres that bar that runs horizontally in front of the oil pan and it hits if you try and pull it out like normal

2. so you need to leveler and have to basically angle the engine nose to the sky to get it out, fuckin pain

3. you have to take the trans out with it, a huge PITA in itself

4. I learned all this during the fact <_<

 

 

 

I can yank a Z car motor with the trans still in the car and have the new engine in, bolted up, running and tuned in 4 hours..... I stick to Z engines <_< my turbo swap was less of a PITA

 

 

Id like to find who ever designed the engine bay/front susp. of the 620 and kick them in the balls.

I knew about the trans coming out with, but not about the bar, I have a proper engine crane, I challenge you to beating your 4 hr drop and tune time, when my rebuild is ready to go in my 620. Cmon have to!

make sure you have a load level to, its a must.

I've pulled 620 motors without pulling the trans...and you can always pull the crossmember out for more room :lol:
