Eagle_Adam
got the trans back up in the wagon lastnight, i only got a couple hours to wrench so that's all that was done waiting on the new filter and pan gasket to come in today, got a new seal put in the rear of the trans as well last night, and the Governor/modulator (no clue what the proper name is) got replaced because it was pulling ATM thru it and thru the vacuum line thats attached and into the engine which i believe was part of the wagons smoking issue. If you drove behind it your could see and smell the smoke and it was not oil smoke..... So im hoping with all this done i can properly diagnose the motor when i get a chance. Quote Link to comment

Eagle_Adam
the spacer plates for the carb were both loose and the carb was loose, so it was off with the carb Jassifrass took it in for an alinement this morning!!! drove GREAT! ran strong, completely different car!!!!!! the motor sounds like butter now and 75% of the smoking has subsided!!!! All in all it was a win!!! BUT Since so many vacuum leaks had been fixed the carb was running WAY rich, so jassifrass took it over to Nismo Dr for a quick tune before we take it to my carb guy for a real dialing in on Wednesday Quote Link to comment
