Had it 2 years but it sat for over a year and i have been attacking it steady for the last 3 months... so here she is... after some toying around i got the rear end fitted.... Toyota Mini van diff with 4:30 gears Bogart wheels on 24.5 slicks installed the front brake set up and mounted on the car pressure washed the undercarriage and painted it my 5gal. aluminum fuel cell and thanx to my friend Marcos at teh SR20STORE.COM i got my motor and clutch delivered. got around to doing a few things this week and today i mocked up the motor in the bay, needs some minor things but looks like i will have to do a tranny tunnel so i will be cutting away here soon..... :lol: mounted my intake manifold my material for my turbo manifold, i will mock up and make it once the motor is sitting where it needs to be. and today as she sits today i installed the side rear glass back on, mounted the FMIC and radiator to check clearances. today i started mocking up the turbo location... here is a picture before the final mock up i finished last night. i will complete it this week and will update then... and a peak at whats to come for 2010... started the tunnel today and swaping my bell housing manifold is complete, but need to clean up some welds as i was having a bad day, but for the most part is done just needs the wastegate elbow. and a little teaser for you.... ACT stage 5 mounted today... still playing with the tranny tunnel. hope to have it buttoned up by the weekend as my dad would say " llego el Truck" ( " the truck has came " ) -8 fuel line 20ft 850cc injectors, Fuel rail Quote Link to comment
S@nt0s Posted October 31, 2009 Author Report Share Posted October 31, 2009 Fuel Pump blow off valve power TB 75mm for a mustang ( flange made by my dad Santos Turbo ) Lug nuts front wheels as they will look rears came in another stop by the truck today and left my front runners... today i mounted the new rims and tires... here is the final of the manifold i made... just need to place the wastegate elbow... S@nt0s Posted October 31, 2009 Author Report Share Posted October 31, 2009 Thanx, the 240 belongs to my buddy, he built it so it isnt the car of think of... hoping to have it running and tuned by the new year... i dont have much to do. mounted the trans yesterday but it required me to move the motor forward so now i have to redo the motor mounts or the crossmember... Planning on making it street legal? :D yea it will have carpet , seats etc... ill slap some street drags radials on it and take her for spins on nice days and to local meets. S@nt0s Posted November 15, 2009 Author Report Share Posted November 15, 2009 did some cleaning up of the TB inlet on the intake manifold and made a block off plate for the air idle control valve and mounted it. opened up the ports on the turbo manifold and mounted then clocked the turbo...
