here is what i have been working on..

Had it 2 years but it sat for over a year and i have been attacking it steady for the last 3 months...

so here she is...

 

after some toying around i got the rear end fitted....

Toyota Mini van diff with 4:30 gears

Bogart wheels on 24.5 slicks

installed the front brake set up and mounted on the car

pressure washed the undercarriage and painted it

and thanx to my friend Marcos at teh SR20STORE.COM i got my motor and clutch delivered.

got around to doing a few things this week and today i mocked up the motor in the bay, needs some minor things but looks like i will have to do a tranny tunnel so i will be cutting away here soon..... :lol:

my material for my turbo manifold, i will mock up and make it once the motor is sitting where it needs to be.

today i installed the side rear glass back on, mounted the FMIC and radiator to check clearances.

manifold is complete, but need to clean up some welds as i was having a bad day, but for the most part is done just needs the wastegate elbow.

the 240 belongs to my buddy, he built it so it isnt the car of think of...

hoping to have it running and tuned by the new year... i dont have much to do.

mounted the trans yesterday but it required me to move the motor forward so now i have to redo the motor mounts or the crossmember...

yea it will have carpet , seats etc... ill slap some street drags radials on it and take her for spins on nice days and to local meets.

 

Looks awesome, dig the wheels.

 

About the rear end, it did have to be narrowed? I can't imagine the van rear would be the right width. Would be nice if so. What did it take to swap the front to five lug?

 

its a aerospace componets brake set up, they have various apps for different cars. check out theracingstore.com they sell the kits with the bracket for a specific strut.

the rear end was narrowed she is 49" across if i remember correctly.. i could have gone a little more but im happy with where i left her...
