datzenmike Posted May 1, 2009 Report Share Posted May 1, 2009 For almost all applications the stock ones can be reused without any worries. I have never heard of someone saying a used head bolt failed. If I was building a turbo motor, NOx powered or for racing, I would switch to ARP studs anyway. As long as they are clean and lubed and the block threads too then you're good to go. Quote Link to comment
