banzai510(hainz)
I went to the gas staione then went to start the truck. Bam just dead, I said OK lets see how good I am. Ck the battery cables ck bat positive at starter all seemed good. so I put the lights ON and nothing. So I cked the fusable link wire to starter. Then went to fuse box and wiggled the ignition fuse(well all of them and ck the wire near fuse box). then lights cam back On. Truck started right up. Most times its just just CORROSSION Quote Link to comment
datsunaholic
My 520 would do that. I'd start it up for it's monthly warm-up and it would just shut off randomly (all out, no power to anything). Power to the fuse box, but not to the fuses. Real pain in the rear when it did that on the road. The terminal lugs got corroded. Quote Link to comment

Buzzbomb
I sprayed some RC car motor contact cleaner on a few of my connections, and it seemed to work pretty good on lighter corrosion. You can pick it up pretty cheap at a local hobby shop. Quote Link to comment

fisch
The timing was great on this. After sitting since last Oct I tried to start the 521. I could tell it wanted to start, but just wouldn't catch. Remembered this post. Tightened the battery terminals, cleaneded the connection at the fuse box, BAM, started right up! It is the little things! Quote Link to comment
