  1. I usually don't like the 610 interior - but yours looks great! Very nice photo skills!
  2. I tried it, and it seems to be very incomplete - focusing on engines, but not the business - plus the team working on it is pretty small, and the dates on the website are 2010-2012... and they're selling an incomplete version of the game that they've been working on for two years - it might not ever get completed! I would like to play a game like this, though, what I saw from the demo was pretty disappointing,
  3. Thanks! I'll track one down. It'll be much nicer than using a dremel and a serious dust mask.
  4. The 710 comes with cool stripes AND a cat lamp! WOAH!
  5. Are all of the fel-pro L16/L18 intake gaskets the right size for the intake ports on a 219 SSS head? I tried making the intake ports on another gasket larger, but It didn't seem to seal correctly after I modified it.
  6. It looks like a good price for the east coast, but I usually see 510s on the west coast that are a bit more together at that price. Is it drivable? It's probably an L18 or L20B - the L14 is a smaller engine that Nissan never sold in the USA.
  7. Looks like a '73 610 just showed up in Modesto... maybe the fenders and grille are still there? 8. I just got the shipping money - it'll be in the mail to you Friday when I get out of class early. Good luck! I hope you find three more!

Saw this Violet on Yahoo Japan auctions... it is like hellaflush, only the opposite.
  10. ...just handed in my graduate thesis. Now I'll finally have some free time to work on the 710!

      Good work.

  11. I don't mind making a trip to the post office - I figured that it is too weird to sell, too weird to throw out. Free could work!
  12. I usually use Searchtempest, but that one is wonky lately too - it looks like Craigslist changed something recently, and now the sites are trying to catch up.
  13. Free NOS front wheel for a FWD Datsun. Are you brave enough to carry the curse, knowing that you will probably never find three more of these to make a set? ...Or do you want to have a really classy aluminum-shod spare tire for your FWD Datsun? I'm moving in about a week, so you could either pick this up in Brooklyn, NY. Or I could send it off to you, if you pay for the shipping.

Take the two L-motors and stick them together with JB weld. Presto! 4.0 V-8!

    Info on V8 710

Welcome to the site! The white car looks familiar - I think I've seen it somewhere before, when someone who was a teacher in Mexico posted a few pictures. Is that you? I'm curious to see if people have any luck with picking up front panels in Mexico to spruce up their US 710's. I found some for my 710, but they had to come all the way from New Zealand. ...Mexico might be a more convenient option! I tried to get parts on Mercadolibre, but couldn't figure out a way to pay the seller.
  16. Here's a 510 that looks like it is in need of welding: http://muncie.craigslist.org/cto/2915844632.html ...and 1200s are pretty nice too! http://battlecreek.craigslist.org/cto/2933134701.html Good luck!
  17. HA! I was just about to try and track down that pic - it's the only one I've seen in the states.
  18. Ah, I figured that I wouldn't be so lucky! I'll put up some pictures when I weld together a solution.
  19. Thanks for the pictures! I think that is pretty much what I'll need to make. I already have a back plate for a 1600 roadster with 2 SUs, so maybe I can use that as a starting point.
  20. I'm trying to figure out a way to rig up a stock-looking air cleaner for my 710, which is tricky because the brake booster gets in the way. I am thinking about using a roadster air cleaner as a base to start a custom housing. Since the L-series SSS air cleaners are so rare and expensive, I don't want to cut one up. Is the distance between the carbs the same for the 1600 roadster engine and L-series engines? Here's a picture of the stock setup for dual carbs in a LHD 710 (160J) SSS:
  21. They're all yours - that gauge cluster is a bit too rectangular to fit into my 710!
  22. Nice first post! Welcome! (by the way, I did spot a 180B-SSS gauge cluster that just popped up on the Australian ebay - though the asking price is as much as the price of your parts car!)
  23. I used some from a Z car on my E10 Cherry, and they worked pretty well. They have reels that attach to standard seat belt mounting bolts, so I didn't need to modify anything - the only problem was the two buckles that attach to the drive shaft tunnel were oriented about 90 degrees off, so they were a little inconvenient to buckle. Still totally safe, and kept me in the car! They looked like this, with a big reel at one end of the belt:
  24. Nice to know that there is another 710 hardtop on the east coast! If you need any help, let me know!
