it's up in normandy park down the street from shoreline,wa. maybe some of you up there have seen it before. i met him earlier this year and i've tried to get him to sign up but so far no luck. i guess a company up there bought 2 new 521's hot off the press and had them turned into dump trucks for their business. he says it's for sale and would take $3200 for it unrestored. he has a bunch of spare parts for it also. when the bed is down flat it sits a couple inches higher than original so the body lines dont match up. he says he wants to restore it before he sells it. i'd hate to see how much he'd want for it then.

tdaaj has a set of 521 hub caps for $40 i believe.

i made my own kick panels and it was super easy. thinking of making some more just for fun or rather for the cause. there are 2 styles of clips for the 521 door panels earlier with the cups and later version like the 620. are the hole designations on the doors in the same spot? i would like to try to make my own but i dont like the paper idea from scratch it would be easiest and more accurate to dissemble a old panel to do this as yoursurfer wants. i have a spare but i dont remember if i reglued the edges back down as they are usually falling off. i'll take a look. i would use that to use a master template from the good stuff and then some paper ones to be shipped to other ratsun'ers. and then put my donor back together and keep it cause it's still a good panel and i don't want to destroy it for the cause. there are lots of good panels out there with ripped vinyl, but i don't think people are very interested. i've said it before and i'll say it again, people dont really care about the small stuff.:mad: someone should be pumping out door panels and kick panels for us. again i'll look into it.

i thought you got rid of all your running 521's. i'm curious as to what condition it's in.

it really depends on what it looks like. i wouldn't buy anything without pics. now if it's nicer than he says, call it in and see if it's stolen and if it isn't you could pay a company that specialized in lost titles. but if you dont want to title it and just want it for parts. $100-200 depending on what's been done to it. weber,reapolstered interior, wheels, non cracked windshield, straight grill, locking glove box, matching door and ignition locks, rear end, maybe it has a dash cap that isn't cracked, hell i'd pay $200 if it had the original 521 clock that nobody has ever seen. it's all about the pics.

the 620.com pdf 521 wiring is wrong. it looks to be copied from the haynes green 510,pl521 manual pictured on the top of this page which is also incorrect. both say 521 wiring but it's a 620 that is pictured. i'm sure some of us can supply the correct 521 pdf wiring harness page for the 620.com but the green haynes manual cannot be fixed.

why is it some pilots want to buzz the vehicles below them? thats the same stupid shit that killed guitar god randy rhoads. wtf is wrong with people. cant really tell if it is a datsun or not. if we could pin a date down on when the pic was taken say before 72 it would be a datsun.
