  1. Generally if you have to wait 5-10 minutes to start back up you have a fuel problem. Check your fuel filter or just buy a new clear one from napa.
  2. Hello and welcome to Ratsun. Pics aren't showing up for me.
  3. Car wash riped off my front wheel trim. Dammit.

I know but sometimes it's hard to wash so many cars. The spray only ones don't get the job done.

    My 521 Truck

For all who have been living under a rock or didn't pay attention here is how Ricks truck came about. http://community.ratsun.net/topic/64634-2015-canby-truck-giveaway/

    My 521 Truck

Ahh. I had the same problem and one day I found the perfect piece of metal and fabbed up my own. I may have a pic. You can tell the one I made on the bottom by how crappy it looks.

    My 521 Truck

You can take the tumblers out of the fuel door lock and rearrange them to match your ignition lock. You can do this with a 521 glove box lock also. I'm super glad you got the truck Rick. Here is how to rekey you glove box on a 521. The fuel door is done the same way. http://community.ratsun.net/topic/6340-rekeying-a-521-glove-box-lock/?p=80275&hl=+rekeying%20+glove%20+box&fromsearch=1&do=findComment&comment=80275

I can only fit 1.5 bodies into a full size cooler. You should do a write up.

Your truck looks awesome. I had one of those campers but I was young and dumb and trashed it. I only have one pic of it now to remember it by. Keep up the good work.
  12. Short story. I used to think those red and black painted battery terminals were cool. Then one day my Torino wouldn't start after installing those. If you look under the nuts the whole things are painted so the current has to go through the paint. There is no metal to metal contact without any paint in between. I would loose power, wiggle the positive cable and the ignition would come on but when I turned the key to start nothing would happen and all ignition power would disappear. They make for a bad connection. Now I just use the sealed pre molded whatever you want to call them ones.
  13. Very nice I like the color.
  14. Package tray powder coated also. The one I had in there was a 520 and the one I'm putting in is also a 520 but they have a different shaped lip. Probably different year 520's or one might be from a 320.
  15. Part numbers are always great so post them please. Are you looking for a new fuel door clip to make copies or will a used one do?
  16. Also powder coadted tailgate chains. Thank you DatWifey for the idea. These turned out badass too.
  17. New powder coated valve cover thanks to jrock. It looks pretty badass.

  19. Yes come to canby on the 13th and see my 80 210. Welcome to Ratsun. For now scrape all the old silicone and apply new silicone. Sometimes the only thing you can do to stop leaks is built a carport.
  20. Daughters jeep did a similar thing recently and it took me many hours of reading and watching youtube videos. Ended up being the ignition switch. Not the lock cylinder but the actual switch at the bottom of the steering column. Tore that whole thing apart looking at the lock cylinder and rack when I didn't need to but now I know how to do it again if I need to.
  21. Change the oil? Don't know what that is but it sounds like the popular thing to do.
  22. This car was only 10 miles away from me before it sold. I wanted to go check it out but failed to do so. VERY NICE SURVIVOR.
