I borrowed a couple things off it over the years like the heater s hose and the banjo bolt on the rear brakes. Still need the s hose and some valve cover bolts. You can't see it from the pics but the engine sits in there crooked. I must have the wrong mounts or something.

Ok I got some stuff put back together. Progress. As long as it runs I dont care about cosmetics at this point.

Tdaaj currently has a whole cluster for sale for $30 with the more common flat style bulbs/sockets. His ad is posted on the facebook 521 registry. You can message him on this site too.

You have the sockets that are less common. If I were you I'd just find the other style of sockets. I should have some extra ones just let me know if you're going to go that route.

I think most window and glass shops can do this. Call around.

I've had 2 521 mirrors redone at city glass and upholstery in tacoma. Like $20-30 each.

Hey no worries. I have a beater daily 521 in another thread. Sometimes I wonder what people think of me driving around cause it looks like shit. Especially now with a crunched bed. But in the end I really don't care. My green one isn't as nice as it looks or maybe not as nice as I think it should be. It was hit at one point in it's life and I feel the front fender and hood will never line up also they body shop repainted the front half of the cab but not the back or bed. I feel it does have potential though.

Beware if you try to change out the vacuum modulator the dealer told me a month ago they aren't available anymore. You can get after market ones but the problem with them is that they are adjustable so you have to try to dial it in.

Thanks Tanker. Did you install them? I know it was a option but never seen original door switches. I've seen hundreds of 521's and they all have the rubber block off plugs.

Found another but without the matching dash.

I found a 74 with it. This must not be very common.

This surely doesn't match my dash or interior in any way. I've been looking at reference pics and don't see any consoles other than black. Is it deluxe or gx or specific trim codes or years? I really don't want to paint over it if it's special and somebody may need it.
