  1. Welcome we love Mitsu wagons over here ,, notice how we all pulled over and waited for this one on a cruise we had. :w00t: :poke: welcome new guy.
  2. Was the LED idea hatched by a guy that goes by the name of Dave,,, cuz it suuuuure sounds like him.
  3. But if someone was to buy it for that much ,, it would also be the biggest complement ,,, of all time.! :) I saw the grill on your car at Canby and the craftsmanship you put into those is amazing.
  4. If Jalen means he is going to be with a bunch of old sweaty naked men massaging each other with birch boughs while you guys go at it... Then yes he does
  5. Your motor says it is supposed to be spinning at 3450 rpms and that is as fast as any motor like that can, the other speed option is 1800 rpms.. A higher horsepower motor is used when the pump is bigger because it takes more horses to spin them. i use 2 compressors of least 4 horsepower or bigger at once, with as many storage tanks as i can bum off other dudes, when i'm using grinding/sanding type tools for long periods of time.. But the power bill is usually huge.
  6. I would think more of a grind,, grind,, snap,, klunk.
  7. Ooooh your that quiet dude.. i was the fat guy with the really loud son. . I read black ,, i asssumed flat, i see you said gloss, Carry on. :P Didn`t your brother say you were going to college in Tacoma ,, maybe you can sneak over to one of those meets ( if they ever have another one) in the future... welcome to you youngster.
  8. BOOM!! http://community.ratsun.net/classifieds/item/1809-parting-out-1980-720-l20b-5-speed-scrapping-soon/
  9. I like the grocery store cart bumper trim ,, flat black , not so much. Welcome to the forums , you should try to make a local meet with that thing.. (edit) someone is stealing your golf clubs
  10. if we could have voted whether they installed roundabouts in Tumwater and nearby cities i would have voted NO . After living with them for quite a few years now i can say i was completely and utterly wrong.. Roundabouts especially in heavy use areas are the best things to move traffic.. ever!
  11. Lou you bastrad i almost drown on my coffee just now . lmao

I don't appreciate your ruse, man

  12. A cracked/warped head would most likely overheat all the time not just in low speed traffic,, if you were to take your head to anybody a machine shop would be a much better option than just a general repair shop.. but before you do that read the part of this paragraph that i underlined. CHECK THE FAN GOD DAMNIT!! try to spin alternator by the blades can you get it to turn with one finger ,,, your belt is too loose. (edit) By this picture i found in Elmerfudpuckers build i see no fan shroud either , have you put one on like mentioned a few pages back?, not having one will make it run hotter at low speeds ,, your looking for the answer but you don`t seem to be listening to the answers you have been given.. >>KISS<<
  13. I do like the wide look that gives it... I don`t think that would sway me to have one  but it does look kinda beefy.
  14. Ass-clown  .. i'm going to totally use that phrase sometime before the end of the day. Anyway Izzo-intehsticks i totally agree about the weak trannies my buddy replaced a few on his when he drove it to hard, but that was a long time ago in the late 80s when these were in junkyards. Now it might be somewhat impossible to find one.. Don't these things have the same lug pattern as VW jettas toyota mr2 and honda/acura type vehicles?? If it does it sure opens up a huge selection of great rim choices..... (edit) Not the "rim" Jrock gives though. Thought i better add , there is quite a few Tacoma/Puyallup area meets if you see DAtDoug post in events it is almost always in west Tacoma or Port Orchard sooo now the ball is in your court as to showing up..
  15. I remember when you were selling this for cheeeep i waited a bit to long and he scooped it up before me.. It's a good thing he did , cuz i was just going to harvest the engine and trans for my ,, then un-started project lizard mobile..
  16. Wayno Ford used replaceable bearing inserts on the Flat head after the mid 30s sometime .. There is a few diffent sizes of bearings over the years so just buying them based on engine size isn`t easy without research first though.. For shear shock value the flathead would definetly make a statement .. Would i use it in a 521,,,, maybe.
  17. You say it doesn`t over heat at high freeway speeds but does puttering around town ,, my guess would be the fan clutch.. Maybe get one of these but test it on other engines to get a feel of readings it is giving because ,,, made in China... That way you could pop hood and instantly compare what your running as compared to what your gauge is reading. http://www.harborfreight.com/non-contact-infrared-thermometer-with-laser-targeting-69465-8905.html
  18. Could we a make seller feedback with fewer characters to make messages left completely cryptic??

  20. Oh ok i remember reading that ,, there`s so much work going on on this website sometimes you get confused as to where you see stuff.. This place is sometimes worse than the "outside internet" research wise ,, as you can get so sidetracked reading peoples stuff you forget what you were even looking up.. :D
  21. So what`s the problem?? Is this just a old standard 3speed or is it a newer 4speed ?
