You really should brake your piggy bank and pop for a $299. Macco special.. looks almost one color in pic.. Macco jobs usually are sprayed by the new guy so it will probably have a couple runs,,, so you could say you painted it yourself in the driveway,, if people give you shit. FYI we probably spent triple that just to paint my sons celica,, in our own garage last summer.

The picture you show kinda looks more like the valve cover,,, and yeah don't over tighten.. I should have added mine had just vibrated loose as every Datsun will if you just hop in and go,, too many times in a row.

I just went through this because park plug not tightened good enough or plug ring/seal/thing is worn out.. try a new plug or switch plugs round to see if problem follows that plug.. I removed the 2 offending plugs cleaned them up and only one still does it but not as bad.

If it just started doing this outta the blue and it's a stock hitachi.. Take your air filter off and grab top of carb,, if it wiggles separately from the base the bolts have come loose from the bottom.

You will have to supply your own container for her false teeth as i only have one.
