Ever been curious about your Datsuns history??? Well, here's a simple guide to learning a little bit about where your Datsun has been: 1: Go to Google. 2: Search "dealer autocheck inurl:vin" 3. Find the first result with a car dealer site. 4. Go to the link, and replace the VIN at the end with the vin of your Datsun and... VIOLA! You have a basic history report. Yeahhh I see what you're talking about and now that you mention it, it is a little funky. I might have to look at the fender roller and see if there's any room for adjustment there. Regardless, I'm holding off on flares because I may be trading for some 16x8's that would sit about flush. Tomorrow though, the truck is getting finishing work and MAYBE PAINT. But that really depends on the weather.

Funny you mention this, there's a company out there (forgot their name but I'll figure out) that makes BLACK Nitrile gloves that are just about indestructible. Although they are about 25% more then the blue nitrile, they're worth their weight in gold. Never torn on doing brakes, clutches, etc. EDIT: NVM, looks like someone's been here about them already.

Yup, we'll be there with the locals. Two other 620's, a 720, possible 260Z, 510, etc. This is IT for now! We'll set up our own private meet down the road when we have a few months ahead to plan something bigger and better. Helen sounds good...

Welcome Christopher! First off, I LOVE V8's and rat rods, so you get a +1 in my book. Second, I LOVE the patina on that truck, so if you paint it you get a -1. And noone wants to be a zero, so don't paint the truck :thumbup:

Sounds like the same issue my dad had on his Dell with the power supply. It was an old computer though. Went to a computer shop and spent a good $50 on a nice one (this was a few years back) and hadn't had an issue since.

Pictures would be the most important thing.. never heard of them. Is it aluminum/steel/plastic?

I know they suck ass. Try hitting it with a hammer, usually worked for me.

Yeah, I have the low profile energy suspension. I'm honestly not that far from sitting on them. There's gotta be something shorter :( I don't feel like cutting the truck. I'll probably end up paying someone to do it, since my welding skills are shit with what I have. Only about 1/2 - 1 inch to be exact.

I have Pinto shocks right now and they ride great, but sitting still I'm riding with them compressed all the way on the stops. I don't plan on going any lower then I am now, but I feel like some of my ride quality of compromised.

Rootbeer brown is cool :thumbup: But it's too hot here for that. I like the Artic Sky though! And pearl white is a love of mine. Whatever I do I'm going to have the black stripe on the bullet side again. The truck is a mess right now. I HAVE to finish it up. I'm gonna end up pulling the fenders soon, but I need wider tires in the rear first. The stretch is really starting to bother me :geek:. The front I don't mind because they're not as tall...Plus the responsiveness is awesome. The rear is getting a 225/50/15. Less then 1/2'' of stretch. Back onto progress... my lip is finally hard mounted.
