  1. Thanks! Build one ;) It's not hard. Just takes a little time on CL looking for rims, some blocks from AZ, and a sander to ruin the nice paint on the bed. LOL I'll keep that in mind for sure man. I'm still getting used to them. Not 100% sure if I'll have them for long. Not really. I'm still waiting for the gaskets from Nissanparts.cc $100 out the door and I've gotten nothing more then a 'pending' notice to the order. Been almost 3 weeks now <_< If I don't have them an answer on it in the next few days and a good deadline, I'll be getting a refund from them and just buying the FelPro. Which I really don't want to do. Give me about 2 weeks tops and it should all be done. About the only thing I've done on it is get an oil pan (Thanks Adam!!) and paint it up nicely.
  2. Stock? post in the classifieds. I don't recall any A series having a dizzy at the front though.
  3. First on here maybe, but I can guarantee it's been done before.
  4. Dunno that anyone here has ever done a KA-T in a 620 yet. Mostly SR stuff.
  5. SPOILER ALERT^^^ I need to watch the movie now... FYI if you use the tags 'spoiler' then you'll get this... it's pretty nice
  6. Soooooooooo how satisfied were you guys actually? Seems like everyone liked it... but would you recommend it to anyone? Worth the money? I'm debating going to see it.
  7. You need an A10 crossmember. PL510 won't work to my knowledge. The A10 510 and the B310 were very similar, so the crossmemeber bolts right up to the B310.. You also need an auto-trans driveshaft from a B310 from what I remember? EDIT: http://datsun1200.com/modules/mediawiki/index.php?title=L-series_Engine_Swap
  8. See the ricer thread and you'll understand the Honda hate. I like Honda's in general, when done properly. Hell, I like anything if it's done right. I'd be the first guy to rock the fuck out of an old Nash Airflyte too. The 600 is old school, and are kinda the 'Datsun' of the Honda market. Every owner I've met has shunned all other Honda's because of the cheap-o, loud, annoying losers that seem to follow them.
  9. Yup, stockers are 14's. They won't clear the calipers You can always get some Chevy Ralleys and get some dog dishes on there.
  10. Spent the last two days on a Tech School campus @ Autozone classes learning about our parts/manufacturers. Learned some very interesting stuff about AZ and our manufacturers...

  11. The fuck? This thread just got REAL unproductive..... lol Kami Adam, I use www.willtheyfit.com to see my tire size/offset calculations. Also gives you a lot of interesting dimensions at the same time.
  12. Nissanparts.cc has been dragging their feet on my order for the last 2 weeks for my Nismo head/header gasket order, and I'm trying to get my motor together. I'm trying to find a better, thicker gasket for my high compression motor, to help keep the C/R as low as possible. Right now I'm looking at low 10's. (Not 100% since I haven't CC'd the piston to see.) Cometic doesn't make a gasket for the L20b, and I'm not sure of any other good manufacturers.
  13. You won't see a difference with MSD on a stock motor. I have an MSD ignition coil, but I got it for about the price of a stock replacment.
  14. Check out Ebay. There should be one on there.
  15. Its just about what you can afford now. Old American metal is EXPENSIVE now. And the New American cars are pretty much worthless. Good old Jap stuff is efficient, easy to work on, and cheap to mod. The only reason I got into Datsuns was that very reason, and now see what it's done to me? Addiction. I'm a huge fan of old American metal. Kids don't need as much power as those cars made though. They can't handle a 100HP Civic. Sure as hell don't want to see them in a 70's Camaro, or an '80's Buick. The death toll will rise. I'm honestly very glad that my parents never bought me, (or helped me buy) anything like that. I know given my surroundings at the time and all the influences of being a teenager I probably would have killed myself or even worse, someone else.
  16. Keep in mind using the Z block puts the dipstick tube on the other side of the motor, where the manifolds are. Not sure what a good solution is for this.
  17. I love that Miura! Beautiful cars. Favorite Lambo. The Diablo GTR is a close second.
  18. The fuck? Here in GA, when the yards get a decent car in with a blown up motor or something, they'll get it out of another car (if they have one thats the same) and make it run. Cannibalize one to save another. Then they sell them right off the lot. I think by law in order to sell the cars as a whole, you need a dealer license which most yards won't invest in to sell a $400 car. In pieces would be exempt. You guys get FUCKED on junk yards. I roam them for free, and I'm often given small stuff for free. Guys are awesome down here. Bough my Ellipsoids for $30.
  19. There was set for sale on here not long ago for $300. Tried to buy them, but he never PM'd me back :(
  20. Using an L head? Seems like you should use L studs.
  21. Getting back to this soon! I'm gonna strip and chop the fenders, and get them painted sometime in the next month-ish. Gonna yank the bike out of the shed some time next week. YEAH BUDDY
  22. Okay, how about intake manifold leaking? Water runs through a few L series intakes, but IDK how that fits with L18. Just a thought.
  23. LZ + OS Giken Head = /THREAD.
