  1. Got bored and started playing around in GoPro studios using some of the clips I already have and came up with this:
  2. For the record, my built LZ makes 104HP at the wheels in my truck and is very comfortable. Only downside is that with the little 38/38 it's hard to keep it running consistently. When its colder or hotter then normal, it doesn't like to idle well with the big cam, even with proper idle jetting/mixture adjustments. I daily drive it and get about 15mpg driving it hard, and at best around 17mpg. Not very practical with the small gas tanks we have. Side drafts will be a HUGE step forward for my motor.. Wide powerband and starts building power around 2000rpm all the way up towards 6000, but that's limited by my carb. I have enough torque to break the tires loose whenever I want. Rain driving is actually scary with my stage 1 Exedy clutch, it grabs so quick and so hard that I often find myself spinning tires every time I'm out in the rain.
  3. Did some work in the driveway, then it took me to work :P
  4. 200HP is a SERIOUSLY built L series. It would not be streetable.
  5. This thread was posted 3 years ago. Better off PMing him
  6. For the record, 38/38 is NOT ENOUGH for a high revving 4. I run out of power around 5800. Just not enough air flows through those little barrels. Z car SU's would be amazing.
  7. For the record, the GoPro takes some badass pictures too  Helps to have good post-processing software and knowledge of how to use it ;)
  8. I was planning on beating it up, but not so soon! I lost a lot of trust for sure, and decided next time I'd rather not chance loosing it in traffic and getting run over. Yup! No hitting the ground if it's hanging  For the record, there are video's of plane crashes and go-pro's surviving without so much as a stutter in the video. Built LZ22 with a down draft Weber. A87 peanut, forged pistons with fully floating wrist pins, .475 cam, Z22 crank, etc etc! Header with a flowmaster super 10  Sure was a big improvement over the oldie L20B! 104HP at the wheels is wonderful!
  9. Are you guys trolling? I can see the dime just fine.
  10. Yessir that's the guy! He showed me some of your big block stuff.
  11. well it scratched the case, but not the actual 'camera' ;) I'll take pics tomorrow Yup! It all bounced, scraped a little bit. No cracks, no chips, etc etc. All works well ;)
  12. It was close! You didn't see me running down the lane pointing at it before the car nearly shattered it. What? Of course I did! How else would it have mounted to the truck?
  13. Why so much damn hate on Walker? This is a guy who genuinely loved everything he was surrounded by and made it a point to help everyone he was around weather he knew them or not. The guy was as true as it gets. That whole "support a soldier" BS is just that. BS. No life is worth more then another. With all due diligence... Walker probably directly affected more lives in a positive manner then a good majority of our soldiers. Does that mean he's better then them? No. And vice versa. They all do their thing. As far as him dying because he and Rodas were doing dumb shit.... well as a car guy, can you honestly tell me that you never pulled out hard in your car? Burnouts, sliding in the rain, etc? If you say no, you're lying through your teeth and this goes for all of you. You don't have to like Walker, but respect him. He's done a hell of a lot more for the world then any of us ever will.
  14. Quality for sure :fu: I love GoPro's. I need a new case now. I HATE having marks all across the thing where it skidded. I'm usually pretty good about taking care of my photo gear.
  15. So who woulda thought sticking your brand new GoPro Hero3+ Black onto your primer via the suction mount was a bad idea?? Good news is, my truck sounds awesome! :fu:
  16. He's a nice guy ;) By the way, just realized who you are. You like about 15 minutes from me. One of my customers George (with the 13B Corolla) told me about some of your cars.
  17. Nice! I recognize a few of those cars. Actually, that orange Celica belongs to a buddy from high school, Chris. How come I haven't heard of this?
  18. Why do you need new sleeves? Block trashed? Just get another block. ta daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
  19. Some of you guys are really fucked up. Seriously. Back on topic. http://jalopnik.com/was-paul-walkers-deadly-crash-caused-by-drag-racing-1474863159?utm_campaign=socialflow_jalopnik_facebook&utm_source=jalopnik_facebook&utm_medium=socialflow "Sources connected to Always Evolving — the shop co-owned by Walker and the Porsche driver Roger Rodas — tell TMZ they saw evidence of a fluid burst and subsequent fluid trail before the skid marks at the accident scene. The AE sources point to the fact there is a noticeable absence of skid marks until just before the point of impact. They say if Roger had lost control the skid marks would show swerving, but instead the marks were in a straight line. They feel this cements the theory the driver didn't have steering control. Also suspicious — the fire spreading so quickly in the front of the car. The sources say flames would be expected in the rear where the engine is ... but fire in the front reinforces their theory of a fluid leak of some sort." “They were only driving for like five to six minutes when the car crashed, they didn’t have enough time to be racing,” he continued. “Plus there were two highway patrol officers on site because there were so many high performance cars at the event.” Jim was at the event when he heard a loud bang and saw a cloud of black smoke. “There is a special effects building behind Always Evolving, where the even took place, so lots of people thought that the noise was coming from there, but in my gut I knew it was Paul and Roger,” he said. While Roger is a race car driving (sic), the accident had nothing to do with racing. “Roger lost control of the control. They didn’t spin or anything. They went into a tree. They hit four trees and took a big light pole down. The light pole came down and the car bounced off of it. And then they crashed into a tree, that’s what eventually stopped the car,” Jim said.
  20. Honestly...I hope they didn't I can't imagine anything more painful then burning alive. This was posted by Bill Townsend (seemingly close friend and big $$ man) on Pauls Facebook. "I was with Paul today. He was surrounded by friends, talking about cars, seeing hundreds of gifts brought for kids to give out by charity. The news is terribly sad. The world lost an angel and Heaven gained one. I'm going to commit to helping ensure the Paul's charity lives on and that his love of cars and people, especially children, will be remembered forever." And then there's this. It reminds me a lot of Ryan Dunn's reaction by his fans
  21. Those were my feelings too. Bunch of stuck up pussies... man think of the lives that could have been saved if they manned up and at least went in to see if there was any chance of saving them..
