  1. PB is amazing stuff. I got just got through replacing fender bolts that looked like they were at the end of their life span. Came out with no problem after soaking with PB.
  2. Dude, RB26 would cost you somewhere in the area of $1000-1500 for the motor alone. Not to mention the engine bay was designed for a 4 cylinder, so anything else won't fit without some SERIOUS mods. The RB is much heavier as well, so brake upgrades are a must to go with that.
  3. Come on down anytime man!! I'll make some time for you
  4. We're nearly 10000 members strong on FB, and almost 7000 signatures. Canibeat is behind us as well as Tanner Foust and a few other drifters. Hopefully StanceNation will be onboard soon.
  5. Got offered $5K for my truck.

Yup, true that. He was pretty sincere so I'm hoping he calls me back. The bike runs now, just needs small stuff. I'll be blowing up the thread with pictures very soon!

call him before he changes his mind. GLwS

  6. OOPS I'm still thinking A-Series! The bolt was long gone when he got back to it so It could have easily lifted up enough for it to spin 180 degrees on the slot, leaving the timing WAY off. I need to get back over there and do some more looking at it.

  8. Can you get me some pictures of the ones you sell? I'm very interested in those if you're satisfied so far.
  9. So here we go... truck no longer runs. He was on the way back home with it and it stopped running. We've verified spark and fuel. When it runs, it runs like shit an backfires out the carb like mad. We have seen 3 foot fireballs out of the carb. The squealing got louder, but is probably unrelated. We tore the Weber apart and didn't find anything out of the norm to cause the squealing. According to him, when he got out and checked the truck, the distributor was loose. We played with timing a bit but it still doesn't run. I personally think the the distributor when it was loose lifted up enough for the shaft to skip a tooth or two on the distributor and leave timing WAY retarded. We played with it last week, but I haven't had a chance to get back out there and help him. Thoughts?
  10. Thank you guys for signing, weather you like the sport or not. Our support is growing. http://www.wsbtv.com...inst-ban/vHC9d/ ^^^ Cool points if you can find the 620 in the video.
  11. What are you talking about man? Our fan base isn't the problem. We don't have people drifting out of parking lots at every meet JDM style making noise and being idiots. This has NOTHING to do with any of that. Our meets are responsible, organized, and professional. That's why our scene is as big as it is. I don't expect you to know, having never attended our meets, but what you don't seem to understand is that not every car event is a scene out of F&F. Our drift meets are no for kids to go throw their grandma's cars around while they're out of town. It's not for your run of the mill S13/14 to come throw down. These are Formula D Pro-Am and above drift events. As simple as that. This issue is regarding a housing complex being constructed in the area and people complaining about the noise at the event. As simple as that. For those of you that signed for whatever reason, thank you. In the last 2 hours we've managed over 500 additions to the petition.
  12. Better fit then I thought. How are they held in? Using the stock retaining ring? OR did they bolt in?
  13. You'll see smashed cars in ANY form of auto racing. Drifting, Auto-x, SCCA ITA/ITC racing. Etc. That's not a very good reason to ban it.
  14. http://www.change.or...re_button_modal I need you guys to do me a solid Ratsun favor. Our Atlanta mayor is amending the noise ordinance in Atlanta to BAN drift events in all our venues. Our Atlanta drift events are some of the biggest in the world and we have to save them for the sake of keeping legal drifting legal. In the last week this has gone from a minor political annoyance to a very real possibility. They've shut down a lot of our local drag tracks for the same reason, and we don't have much left to save. I know there aren't really any of you guys here in Atlanta, but that doesn't matter. We have people signing from other countries as far away as Switzerland and in this case, strength is in our numbers. We've had people to city council for this matter already and we're actively fighting it. If you guys could do me a huge favor and sign the petition I would greatly appreciate it. I was trying not to have to post it here, but it seems like the chances of us loosing one of our biggest drift venues is steadily increasing. We have several members on here that don't post very often that are very active in the local drift scene, and I know that they would appreciate it as well. http://vimeo.com/10218547
  15. Mike it appears the '76 wasn't equipped. I checked every inch of brake line and didn't find anything other then brake line unions. Nothing with a single bleed screw.
  16. Oh gotcha man! Thought you guys were talking about the little box cooler down there. I have to get one of these for my truck for sure. They're soooo stylish
  17. Where the hell do you get these and what are they called??
  18. Sure it's possible, just remember what you're working with. The firewall is gonna need to be modified, probably need to open up the transmission tunnel, and the driveline is the next biggest problem. IMO, for the cost of the motor/modification time considering the HP output stock, you could build a better SR that's going to fit a ton better, and offer more HP for virtually the same displacement. You'll never beat the sound of an RB20 though. I love them sooooo much.
