Not 100% true. In most states it's legal as long as the bulb itself isn't visible and/or flashing. In fact, I have a legal emergency light permit on my truck that would allow me to run emergency lights on my truck legally on road. Cops hate it since it's legal.

Only problem you may come accross is that most, if not all WRX's have been abused to some extent. A friend of mine is to Subaru's what we are to Datsuns and has taught me one thing: When you go to buy one, check it carefully. Look for unnatural tire wear, broken or damaged engine mounts, and most importantly inspect the under carriage for scrapes, bends, and tears. I've come across Subies with perfect bodies that kids have taken off road and ripped to shreads. With that said, Subaru's make great DD's. I wouldn't mind having a Legacy if I had the space/money for one.

Talk to Napa. The one you have is Exedy, which is great. Napa sells Exedy.

Get a ZX or Maxima 5 speed and it bolts right in. If you're not sure what the 5speed you're looking at is out of, measure it. Should be somewhere around 31-31.75 inches.

Yessir, I'm trying to make the decision on that before I finish the bodywork on the bed. Don't wanna paint it if I might be cutting it. My heater core was leaking like mad. I got out of the truck today at a car meet, came back, and antifreeze was running out of the rocker panels on the truck. FUUUUUUU. So I'm un-soldering the tank on the core, cleaning it out, and re-soldering it. Like new. It had 4 different holes. At some point, someone put some leak stopper in it Which absolutely gummed the shit out of the core.

FYI, it's only a 120Y if it's got an A12 (1.2L) in it. That would be either a 140Y or 150Y. (A14 or A15) Looks like it's gonna be cool!

Original fairlady (432) had the S20, not L20A. Pretty sure the Hako, Laurel, and Cedrics had the L20A. If you have an original Fairlady motor, you have this.
