My alt and water pump pullys are slightly forward of crank pully, causing slight misalignement of belt. This is not normal I take it? It's an L16, and has a crank pully w/ spots for 2 belts. Is this pully wrong?

not sure, but my L16 crank pulley has the spots for 2 belts aswell

My 71 L16 has 2 spot crank and alt is slightly forward of crank causing belt to be slightly off. Never had any issues tho. Belt stays on and does not get chewed up

OK. Yah, it's not off by much, but you'd think they'd make it straight... Putting finishing touches on the truck now, guess I just won't worry bout it.

Check center drag-link ball joints and tie rods for damage or play. I imagine the FSM would have a good recommended inspection procedure. Yah Mike, 2 on each tie-rod, and 2 on the drag-link. Possible you could also find fault w/ the idler arm, so don't forget to check that. Those are fairly inexpensive new.

He said nipple...ollz. The oil pan holes on the sides go through a lip on the block. Length won't matter there, but might matter in front where they go into timing cover...

The core support is decent, will get photos soon. RF fenderwell and batt box have cancer. The cancer is back where the well meets the cab, so if you don't need that part it's good. Will also photo that. Want $25 for clamshell.
