  1. There are a few of us around, myself and a couple more are here in longmont. If you are on facebook, check out the group "rocky mountain nostolgic" its pretty new but if there is something going on someone usually will post it there. I would love to see your truck once its built.
  2. Thats awesome. If it werent so far I wouldnt hesitate.
  3. Xb12stt my favorite buell I will have one some day. Love the buell platform great balance and character. Mine (s3t) will never be sold.
  4. This thread is one I am happy to see bumped. I will be finishing my suspension up this winter, as well as rebuilding my a14
  5. Thanks Burabuda, it may be how poor I am but big shows like this the parking lot usually have my favorite cars.
  6. This event has been a bit of a bummer in the past, but I am trying to bring some actual classics down this year. There will likely be a group of us (3 or so?) leaving the Longmont area together. I would really like this meet to eventually live up to its description instead of it being mostly clapped out late 80s hondas. September 27th 12:00PM Creekside Park Denver 80246 By Forever Chrome Mile High City "THE ONLY MEET IN THE STATE OF COLORADO AIMED TOWARDS OLD SCHOOL IMPORTS! Please join us while we enjoy the old school classics that have paved the way for the new age import and euro scene." Link: https://www.facebook...43576452552711/ Sorry I could not find any non Facebook info.
  7. Way to wake a dead thread. No really though, you should keep it going and post some more pictures of your cars.
  8. I am from just north of denver. We have a decent mini community up here. I ended up buying a crappy old accord because I decided I needed a car that I didnt want to spend money on, so I could focus my spending on this:
  9. Did you buy that off a guy in Albuquerque? I wanted to go down and get it to daily but couldnt make the arrangments work.
  10. Anything is better than stock. I took mine off recently and because it was so heavy I gained nearly an inch of ground clearance.
  11. Best wheel and tire calculator. http://www.rimsntires.com/specspro.jsp Also google this forum, lots of info here.
  12. I can second tireseasy.com I have bought a few sets from them. Great prices and quick shipping (next day on one set!) They often have oddball and performance sizes nowhere else has. I am running 185/60/14s but not in a performance rubber. They are Hankook a/s tires (really more a 3 season tire)
  13. Sweet, good to hear I like the tire size and fit. I also am running 185/60s but have not gone lower yet. I bet a corona bumper is easier to find at a decent price than JDM Sunny bumpers.
  14. Jboy what bumpers are those? I like the stance too, how does the front fit? any rub, what tire size?
  15. Facebook Ratsun is for attenion whores and people with short attention spans. I find myself on there a bit...
  16. The speed my budget and schedule allows my goals for the B210 in 2015 are: Finally finish building (and install) my 280zx struts 1 to 2" lowering blocks in the rear rebuild the rest of the suspension (new rubber/urethane bits) Junkyard seats if I find something I like fix rust/body work as I find time. and save money and accumulate parts for a KA swap.
  17. I hate cars like this that you don't want to do anything to because its too nice. I have come across a few. Maybe just don't do anything irreversible? That or just keep it classy and treat her well! Great car.
  18. Still not the JDM gold this thread is full of, but I just picked up these of craigslist. 13x7 Libres and 13x6 Western Mesh wheels They will probably be sold off as I just put tires on my appliance dia-mags.
  19. The door of the porshe is touching the gate. This bothers me.
  20. Your bolt pattern is 4x4.5 (114.3) don't mess with wheels requiring adapters. You would have to run more positive offset and are just adding cost and weight.
  21. Sounds like maybe choke+vacuum leak is causing a high idle when cold. When choke comes off the vacuum leak plus air through the carb is causing it to be too lean to run. I am unsure if that would cause the dieseling as well
  22. If you haven't heard about them, Tires-Easy is a great place to get decent tires at a great price. Shipping is usually fast and I have heard good things about their road hazard insurance. They always seem to have a good selection of odd sized tires as well.
  23. I would even take the bent bumper and signals.
