IDI 1.6t the body is in mint shape except i took off bumpers, and it has been resprayed a dark grey instead of the light blue, so the door jambs and under hood are light blue cuz they were lazy :( n under the front bumper was still light blue, so i rattle canned it with a dark grey rustoluem primer for now :) motor is the origional diesel, they just rebuilt it about 1500 miles ago, but didnt replace turbo so that just blew a seal on me :( got it about a month ago and drove it about 400 miles n thats when turbo shit on me.. so after i get that rebuilt itll be road ready again!!! i love these cars, jus wish i had more time to work on it :) gotsa get the 720 done tho

  5. just wondering how much you guys get your relays for around where you live? cuz i can get them off ebay for like 20 bux for a dozen with metal tabs... and around here at parts stores and tractor stores and stuff, there 9 or 10 dollars a piece!!! is that a little rediculous or is that about right n the ebay ones are crap? my dad says we should be able to get them for a few bux, or atleast thats what he used to get them for back when he was big into car audio... also could jus go pocket them at a jy lol
  6. it all depends on how much he drivesit/condition of weather, n how hard he is on the motor on a sie note.. i do not use fram, i never have since i had good luck with napa gold, but i was wondering about the other frams? like the high milage, and the other ones they have? are they all proven shit? or just the normal orange ones??

  8. the plans are just for a daily driver! it will be lowered, but not completely slammed :( i know bummer but in northdakota the roads are completly shit n half are gravel.... my 720 is completely slammed on stock suspension, and it rubs on everything known to man up here lol so plans for rabbnit are lower a couple inches, tint, a system, and get the motor working very reliabl to get good gas milage and decent power :) this motor was just rebuilt about 1500 miles ago, but never replaced turbo, so that is wats holdin me back from driving it... im guna order the rebuild kit as soon as i get money

  10. are u kidding me? hard? no the hardest part will be the wiring, ant there is step by steps on how to do the wiring! i am doing a ka swap out of a CAR with the front sump pan, so i have to make my own pan... your stock tranny will bolt up to the ka, and so will the motor mounts with a little wiggling and hogging out a hole... other than that, its just wiring :) i jus got done putting in my tranny today, and was suprised it still lined with everything! do the swap man!!! just dont give up
  11. thats right guys... i bought a turbo diesel wabbit!! got it a couple weeks ago, and drove it a few days, changed oil, and next morning oil wal all over drive way frozen in snow :( so i go check my oil filter, and the rubber ring is all fucked up ( brand new napa gold filter) so i go get a new filter and another 4 qts of oil and 1 qt of lucas... put the 4 qts in... start n drive around block, and got back home and im out of oil :( my turbo blew a seal :( so now i gota fix that n its good to go :) so i paid 1300 for it, motor was rebuilt this past spring n he parked it in september in a non heated barn up until he decided he had too many vehicles, so i went n snatched it up! i bottle of diesel 911 and it fired right up n drove home perfecctly! well except for sucky tires,got home got all new tires. bodys great except drivers door need to be re alighned, but not necessary, and one dent on passenger rear door n little rust here n there and only rusted thru on a little spot on passenger rocker pannel.... i think i got a good deal, since i been looking for one for a few years n this jus happened to pop up needs to sit a lil lower i know... here you can see the dent at the top of rear passenger dore haha i painted valve cover jus to stand out, its still all messy with grease n wires but i will take care of it eventually oh and that bumper braket is only on there cuz we were using it to lift with the cherry picker to remove turbo easier! and yes, it did have those nasty ricerish hood scoops on but i ripped them off
  12. i was having that same problem... first change your fuel filter, then you know thats a its done for a long time, and its real cheap too.. got mine for like 5 bux, then id get some carb cleaner and spray around vac lines and intake mountings and carb base and check like that for vac leakes.... if it revs slightly you got a vac leak.... if not that, clean ur carb real good and check to make sure the chock isnt sticking a little bit... then if still doing it id jus toss that old shitty carb out the window and get a weber.... (32/36 is a great upgrade with a lil more power and about the same gas milage as a good working stock)or a 38/38 for a more noticeble power( i have one for sale) so id start with that and let us know... also check plugs

  14. all painted up, jus need to get intake gaskets, and finish my oil pan...... then i can drop it in, iv been goin pretty slow, but i dont mind, kinda loosing interest, but she will live on one day...
  15. ok so im trying to decide what to do for an e-brake, and i want a style like this to put between my bucket seets, so how would i put one of these in? is there a disc brake conversion i can do? and then run this? or is there a different one i can buy that would allow me to run a manual one, and not hydraulic?? or are there anyother cars that have one like this that are manual?like maybe the early 240zx or something? i just dont want the out of my dash anymore... we are going to have fun with this truck, and that wont allow us to as well... thnks for all replys

  20. hey i got a weber 38/38... it is a true weber, and not a fake! it is used nut it is not in need of a rebuild, its almost brand new, im second owner, guy had it sitting for a while and put it on his 210 for a couple months, then i put it on my 720 for maybe 2 monthe, and now i upgraded to ka and hve no use...... comes complete with 2 new air cleaner assenbleys, no adapters, 215 obo thanks
  21. got ka wiring almost all figured out, got spray in bedliner sprayed under hood, on fire wall and inner fenders and everything else under there, painted purple over it, then did a few other lil things to it
