so i got this car from radio last week, and it runs great and drives ok too :) got a pretty good squeel from the tranny tho. while im not sure what im guna do, i do know i want white with watanabe's and flares to match the front lip. ok on to pics.. pics i got from radio after a few things/progress. just going down to bare metal then primering. will do body work at a later date. in the end it will be matte white with gold watanabe's so its clear to all of us that i have my work cut out for me :) i am trying to do a little bit at a time, and not get so into it it becomes a headache. i want to work on this as i please and have fun with it. not go full board and get tired of it and end up hating it like i have done on a couple other cars.. :(

so by saying get them cheap, are you saying there not worth shit? dont need them for anything, im really lookin for a good l20, but i thought if they were hard to find or realy good motors, maybe i would put it in my car, but doesnt sound that way

hey guys i found a z20 and a z22s today! there in my local shut down junk yard. there in storage, but i know the guy so he let me go wander and i found these :) i cant remember which one was which but i know one was 4 plugs and one was eight and one was a fuel enjected and one was carbed... are these worth anything? they were pickled when pulled. and were always covered. how hard to put in a dime? its already got the 5 speed, so i just need to switch to a z series bell right? and what about wiring? and how much more power would it be over a good running l?

oops sorry guys, well its a 72 510 4 door. and just the fuse box.. but if the whole wiring harness is cheap ill take that too... and this is radioredlines old pile of shit. i traded him that truck

so i need a fuse box.... perferably very inexpensive... mines shot. ill keep this updated for parts that i need as i keep finding stuff i need to replace on my dime

hey guys i will be getting radio redlines 510 on sunday and he will be getting my 521. i want to swap motors in this car eventually, but isnt a big concern, jus buy parts here and there, then whenever i get all the parts, swap out. i would like to be boosted also with a 5 speed. so my choices are either.... supercharged ka24de, or a ca18det questions are... which is lighter, more reliable, cheaper, more unique, easier to swap in, more powerful pretty sure i want to do the ca18, jus cuz of the answers i just asked, but lmk some other opinions. also, who has all done the ca18det swap? cant really find much for them.. n i not much of an sr person... this is the car

ok i didnt know how much ofset these cars originally came with.. but how do you like the rim style? maybe i can get it in a different ofset....

hey guys i will be acquiring a 510 soon, and as the paint on it now is old and it clearly looks like crap, it will be getting primed now, then painted this winter. but i wanna get some rims on it now, and do a few other things :) so what you guys think about these? there pretty cheap, and i like the looks of them, and im plannin on doin white as main color, and red as a secondary color is this ofset guna be ok? how far will they stick out? anyone run this ofset? or what is the "optimal" ofset to be runing? i like them to stick out a bit, as i will have zg flares on it. bump! someone please make an offer! also, the driver does have a hod! it was jus off for cleaning and is back on now! also i swapped the steering wheels around, and it looks way better will gey more pics soon if you want then

before after not really positive how far down i went, but the nuts on the torsion are all the way to the end, and it cant go any lower with out longer bolts... and i am running 205/75/14 and thats only cuz thats what came with the truck but i will be going with like a 185/65/14 when these wear out, and then i will lower a few more inches... btw the rear is jus the main leaf spring, with the over load spring on top of the main under the axle and it rides great!! so does the front :)
