The details My father is living in moses lake washington or really close to there. He bought me a 76 b210 hatch with an A series for my birthday. It runs and he made it 22 miles to his house. Its having troubles and dies after a minute or so and how my dad describes it, it sounds like a fuel problem. I have the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th of november off of work. Im leaving in the afternoon on the 5th and at the latest will come back in the afternoon of the 8th. MY PLAN IS TO DRIVE IT BACK! I have never tinkered with an a series but lots of L series and Im fairly confident. ok, the b210 idles for a second. than it slowly dies off and deespite revving it, it still dies. What should I look at first? Flush tank? new filter? Carb adjustments/new carb? A series are a mechanical fuel pump right? Any advice for making a long journey in an untested car? AND MOST IMPORTANT? is any one local that would be down to come out and give me a hand? Anyone local with a series parts (carb)?
