I met my wife with that truck i had the spare tire and speaker box holding up the seats because it was so rusty so i have a love for them, Its just the 521 is so much sexier and i love the fact that it looks almost like a 510.

It would take some cash but it would be a good set up and I am looking at doing the same thing. You would want the neo VVL head which is more square and there is a website called ejunkin I think that sells the solenoid re locator and some other stuff to make fit. If not you will need a lot of clearance from the head to the fire wall to clear the solinoids for the valves. There is a guy down here that is doing them and in a fair lady I believe on a built high compression motor he is putting out well over 250 rwhp.. Running ITB's bad ass set up, but yes pricey 2 motors to make one.

You can still bolt ups with custom stuff around it. Hell most Ramrods are bolt ups with quote un quote patina'ed witch back in the day just looked like shit period. But I get what your saying and hats off to you. Shit prove the haters wrong get it going and post some results.
