Looking for the rubber that sits on the 510 bumper guards. New or used. I am missing 3 on my 1970 510 wagon.

Roid , They were original Fontana DATSUN frames. They looked their age but didn't look cracked. I remember seeing 2 different people selling the frames but I can't remember which stand had them. These guy's were in the general swap meet sales area.

Where you located? There is one on a 1978 Datsun wagon , Pick n pull on Jensen in Fresno CA. I took it off but left it there. I almost brought it home but instead I brought home a roof rack off of a Subaru wagon. It was alot cleaner and the one on the Datsun looked cheaply made.

There was a pair of the Fontana plates at the last Pomona swap meet. Had I known I would have picked them up for you. So what's so special about those frames?

Just keep posting man. I know that if I see something at the JY that I think is of some value to fellow members I will post it. Regardless of some other JY thread . Maybe if it was a sticky we could all post there. But then again what do I care what's on the other side of the country.......

They probably figured it was an old truck and could have used the space for a different more popular vehicle. I was ready to pluck the hood , front valance and any other parts that might be salvageable. I have been going to the local JY's for a few years and have yet to see a 320. I want to get my 320 on the road soon.

Not much Datsun stuff there. Wasn't as packed either. Guess thats a good thing.

So we drove from Fresno to Pomona for the swapmeet . About 4 hour drive one way. Right after the swapmeet we took off for the Ecology JY in search of this 320. We searched high and low for the 320 and nothing , did they move it or something? So I ask a worker there and he say's " oh , we crushed that yesterday(Saturday)". So I was a little bummed out on the trip home. I missed it by one day. Guess it wasn't meant to be.....:mad:

Anybody going to the swapmeet this Sunday? Are you buying or selling?

Thanks for the info 73 . Hopefully the hood is still there by Saturday. I need some fenders also , so if they are better than mine I'm picking those up too.. Was the engine/tranny still there?

Nope , not sonic. I ate at the one on Shaw like 2 months ago. Head west on Shaw and right before you hit 99 it'll be on your right hand side. Check it out.

WTF!? Damn , I had some of that crud today. Had to take a shorter than norm. lunch today due to some training so I went to McCrappers which is like 2 min away. Oh well , out the poop chute in the morning....;)
