  5. I believe I am using the s10 block kit but have to look at the box again for the part #. the u bolts do work but are a tad wide but was able to fit over the axle and had to massage them in through the holes of the backing plate and the bolts are long but can be cut. the pin is a bit small but did keep axle from moving. not perfect but have not had issues for several years but have not seen any others that are any better fit wise or have heard of anything better. I have considered doing some rearched springs instead or if some blocks I saw in japan for trucks would work I may try those
  6. I am using the bell tech ones and they work but not a perfect fit but while i was in japan i noticed a company selling blocks for trucks there and was and may buy a set and try and see how they fit
  7. I lowered mine just 2" and that was sort of pushing it. I cut the bump stop and diff stop and it helped some but if you are going low you may have to do like others and cut the driveshaft tunnel and give it more room to clear the diff and driveshaft. personally I would not do this to such great cars but to each is their own. having it very low is mainly for looks and will not benefit much handling wise
  8. dj aztek12 I can email you pics if you are interested in anything. Hang510. I have not been back to japan in a while. not as easy to bring stuff back from japan and parts are not cheaper.

    Big Bore 2.3

I guess I can say I have this motor setup. it was built by rebello racing for my friend when he owned the car. From what I remember he called it a long rod motor using ka pistons and his head work and dual 45 sk's and his cam. I can tell you it makes good power and torque for a street car and I can drive it well for san francisco streets. I have to use 91 octane all the time though. I am using a pertronix set up for it with a nissan comp header. it does idle decent and not bad for a carbed motor. I think this motor with fuel injection would be sweet or maybe just go KA motor with fuel injection.
  12. Like the 510 shirt but would like one without the phrase just the car alone would be super clean. if you made it like that I would consider getting one
  13. replaced my windshield wiper boots and added a breather tank.
  14. That is a pretty looking wagon, goon, van. hope you keep it clean
  15. this is a sweet gathering and nice pics.
  16. yeah I am sure someone in your area has something.
  17. sorry no. where is canby. sorry heard of it but never read the threads about it. if anyone from the bay area or close or passing through is going to it they are welcome to come and get these tires for you
  18. I have a pair of advan tires in the size you want for 20 for the pair. the only thing is you would have to pay for shipping or if someone in the san francisco area is heading up your way can pick them up for you
  19. I can try to get it or have my friend pay for it and I can pick it up as may go to japan next month but it will cost you. I need to make some money for my time to do all of this and cover my friends time. if you want it let me know so I can have my friend try to get it.
  20. try contacting pierce manifolds in gilroy california or fast freddy's.
  21. a little sad I missed this gathering but was at the cherry blossom festival in sf. maybe I can make the next one
  22. Try pierce manifolds in gilroy as they are a huge weber dealer. I don't know if fast freddy's in so cal still exists but look at them or try topend performance or maybe toysport or CB Performance. some of those bug places sell weber with good deals
  23. Nice looking coupe. what spring set up are you using? maybe you can swap out spring rates for a better ride or if you are using ZX struts in front and did not mod them for mr2 inserts maybe go that route for a better ride. as for the rear rubbing if it is not rubbing much maybe consider going with a 195 sized tire or take a front wheel and move to rear to test. all in all very nice looking
